So I have a question for everybody: What do you prefer when playing RPG's? An autosave only system? A manual save system? Or a mixed system? Answer in the poll and post your opinion on the subject if you have more to say! There's no right answer here--I'm curious to see what people think! I admittedly prefer a mixed system, but I have noticed that it can get really messy when trying to manage all those different saves. What do you think?

I love the save system used on FF, you can save in especific zones. I like this way, because nes cartridge tend to corrupt save datas and I like to have diferents slots.

I like autosave as the normal rule, but I also like being allowed to quickly and easily save my game into other slots. RPGs often have point-of-no-return sequences: I like to save right before it in different slots, and then go back to see what happens if I make different choices during that sequence!

I think an auto save and manual save is best! Because there are always those times when your deep in the game story and you just forget... Then your device crashes!

Definitely mixed. Autosaves are great, and if I could choose only one I'd go for that, but it's always good to be able to save at points *I* want to as well.

Honestly I'd say autosave so that you can't do "save scumming" and live with your choices. Though depending on how much grinding in combat is involved to progress in the game, you might want to go with manual saves instead.

Looks like the autosave AND manual options was the clear winner. Glad to know I'm not alone and thanks for your opinion!
